I really hate giving a bad review but my soup and cupcake (2 pretty easy things to make) both were thrown in the trash :( The only upside was that the delivery came VERY fast and the guy was super nice! I won't order from here again. I would have given one star but gave an extra for the delivery

I ordered 1.5 hours ago and my food is still not here. I should have known better based on the reviews. Very hungry and cranky now that I have to deal with asking for a refund and go out in search of food.

I've only ordered breakfast here. The fact that they consistently deliver awesome breakfast every time deserves the 5 stars.

I was so livid when I got my order from them. Crappy service and gross food. They shouldn't offer to deliver items that they don't know how to properly package for delivery. The food was just sub-par. I ordered coffee and got the mixture at the bottom of the cup and nothing else! Nowhere did it say that they only supply you with the mixture and not the mixed drink. Absolutely ridiculous.

Never again. They got the order wrong, and when I called to ask about it they said they changed the sandwich. I said they should have called me because I wouldn't have ordered it (or maybe update the online menu?) I got hung up on. I can't justify giving my money to a place like that.

Worst delivery experience I've had. Ordered the buttermilk pancakes and side of bacon, asked for bacon extra crispy. The bacon arrived in one solid mass with the middle still being white like it never touched the griddle. Pancakes were doughy and undercooked in the middle, yet almost burnt on the outside. Fruit that came with the pancakes was mostly brown. Terrible food.

I order from Prince Street multiple times a week and have been for over 2 years, love it!

WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN! It was an hour late, the omelette and potatoes were cold and had no taste whatsoever. The bacon was absolutely inedible and the delivery person tried to get me to come downstairs and outside to pick up my food from him.

Without high expectations I ordered from these guys the first time out of convenience, thinking they would be close/fast and was astonished at the quality of the breakfast I received. Another time, again, running late and I ordered a pasta dish (duck confit) and was once again blown away. I really can't fault these guys - their food has been consistently great.

I have ordered from Prince St Cafe this year on a regular basis, but today was the 4th time that I have received a completely rotten salad (Green Market Greens Salad). I have excused this before on multiple occasions, but today it was incredibly inconvenient. I am very disappointed and I will reconsider my orders in the future. This is a shame because some menu items are very good.

I ordered a Prosciutto, fig, and mozzarella panini. I got two pieces of white bread literally overflowing with melted cheese - seriously seemed as if they took an entire block of cheese and melted it on the bread, with two pieces of old bacon in the center. I had two bites and had to throw the rest away.
Quick delivery, but the menu is extremely misleading. Would not recommend.

Awful, cold, brick of bacon that took an hour and a half...

Ordered the Grilled Cheese Panini with crispy pancetta and fig confit to be delivered to my office for breakfast on a Saturday. My office is 4 blocks away. It arrived over an hour later after I'd called and was soggy. Also not quite as described. it was actually two pieces of white sandwich bread with grilled cheese inside and a bit of bacon. Not sure that's worth $11 after delivery!

If i could give them negative stars i would...... 90 minutes to deliver cold coffee and a raw omelette and raw sausage.... save yourself the trouble and just order elsewhere

The breakfast foods are amazing!! I would highly recommend the pancakes and waffles. They also delivered our food very quickly and everything was hot and well packaged. I look forward to ordering from here again.

Shameless business: Selling freshly squeezed orange juice and actually delivering a watered-down one. Quid of the quality of their other menu items...

absolutely disgusting and horrible service. they sent the wrong order, delivered the container half opened with contents falling out into the bag. then when i called to inquire about correcting the order, were completely rude. will never order or go here again.

Decent price and pretty good. Got the wild mushroom soup, chicken salad sandwich and creme brulee. Yum

I wanted to give them a shot...belgian waffles had bits and chunks of charred something in them along with a few slivers of metal - maybe the aluminum brush that's not doing a very good job at cleaning. Very friendly and apologetic about it, and offered something else instead, but I opted for a refund.

Worst breakfast. Pancake was burnt and the food was cold. The food should not be cold when I live a block away from the restaurant. Failure.

Horrible - arrived late and wasn't packed correctly. Coffee spilled all over the food, which did not taste fresh or good. Never again!

Lafayette Omelette was weird tasting and the waffles were fine, but they literally only gave us one waffle.

This rating is for their blintzes - which are phenomenal. I do think that this food is definitely a notch above diner food, but is also a little pricier than diner food. (New comment) and the duck confit omelet is deeelicious! Eggs are very fluffy.

I ordered breakfast with a wait time of 30-45 minutes. I called after an hour and spent about 10 minutes trying to get someone to pick up the phone since no voicemail was set up. When I got someone she asked to put me on hold, but I could hear her telling someone else that I was calling to check on my order, then they hung up on me. When I called back they told me that the order had not been started and would take another 30 minutes. Needless to say I canceled the order and won't be calling again.

Diner quality food at restaurant prices. The actual french toast was fine, but the "fresh" fruit was not fresh and it was coated in some preservative laden syrup. The omelette was an undercooked mess. I do not recommend this place for breakfast.

Do not order from Prince St.Cafe. I ordered food over an hour ago and it still has not arrived. Every time I call they tell me it is on the way. Very frusterating!

Was charged extra for the eggs, when the delivery person came, which had no charge on their menu but are listed as a side item for their organic pancakes.
The pancakes were only luke warm, and there was not enough syrup to go with them. The fruit was ok but seemed at least a day old (Not fresh). I live just a block away so I wouldn't expect to have cold food deliver, but the eggs where cold and dried out. I expect better so giving 2 stars, it's better to go eat in person so at least you can complain directly to the manager if you have to and they will take care of it.

The bacon was really good, but the croissant had weird nuts and sauce all over it, which the menu did not indicate.

Looks like a diner, tastes like fancy.
Their breakfast menu is extensive -- omelets with things like truffle oil and pancetta in them, really good iced coffee, and tasty baked goods.
Lunch and dinner is standard soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta with a twist -- it has a restaurant insider gone rogue and opened a diner feel.

Didn't send the carrot soup with any of its promised toppings, didn't send the correct salad dressing, didn't send a piece of bread as requested in my note. All-around fail from an old go-to.

WORST PLACE EVER!
I HAVE BEEN WAITING OVER 3 HOURS FOR A SIMPLE MEAL.
I CALLED AN HOUR AGO, THE GIRL WAS RUDE AND TOLD ME IT WOULD ONLY TAKE 2O MINUTES... RIGHT. 20 MINUTES.

The staff is clueless. Don't expect your food in the estimated "30-45 minutes." Try 75-90 minutes.

Their burgers and fries are phenomenal; the burgers are juicy and the fries are cooked to perfection. Also, don't forget to try their homemade icecream; it's fresh, creamy and just delicious!!!

The best breakfast around at a reasonable price. The pancakes here are A+ and the delivery is usually quick. Importantly, the restaurant itself is very clean. Will order again and again.

dont order their breakfast. i live 2 blocks away and it took an hour. everything was cold. and, despite what it says on here it came with no salad, no coffee, and a bitchy attitude when i called about it. order at your peril.

Got several flawless breakfasts delivered from here during the holidays and blizzard, cannot recommend highly enough. The smoked bacon and sausage are divine, and the fingerling potatoes are great (no idea why someone would complain about them).

Delivery took a bit longer than expected (over one hour and I live 7 blocks away) but the food arrived hot and was pretty yummy. Not sure about the parmesan gnocchi though, they were like savory cheesy marshmellows
Posted 3 years ago by Andrew S.
Eggs were good and so was the Fresh Squeezed OJ. Finger lickin' Potatoes? Nah..... Deep fried and greasy tasting, ruined the meal!
Posted 3 years ago by Nes R.
Straight up bad food. "Fresh mozzarella" is literally unmelted shredded Polly-o. Split pea soup tastes like watery baby poop, not one single piece of ham to be found. To top it off, delivery guy was a bit of a dick despite receiving an unnecessarily kind tip.

We just ordered brunchy food so can't comment on the other stuff, but I highly recommend the chevre cheesecake. My husband ordered it and I was not interested at all b/c I'm not a big cheesecake person, but then I had a bite and was obsessed with it. The irish oatmeal is also really good. Crab omelette wasn't as good as we hoped.

When they get the order right the food is delicious. I had a regular order and 8 times out of 10 something was wrong or left out. Super fast delivery, but again be prepared that your order may not arrive not 100% correct.

I've ordered at least a dozen times from this place and I feel like its going down hill. I consistently request simple condiments like Ketchup, Salt and Pepper and will get one and not the other, or none at all.
The food is ok, but the inconsistency just ruins it.
Way to ruin my otherwise great starting monday :-/

After waiting almost an hour for my food, I got it. I ordered an omelette (for $9.00 was probably one of the smallest omelettes I've ever had) and they forgot my toast. They gave me the butter and jelly, but no toast. The fries were also soggy. Most other places leave the lid half open if you order french fries so that the hot air doesn't get trapped inside, so it keeps the fries crispy. I tried putting these fries in the oven to re-crisp them, but they just got really greasy. It was a disappointing meal.
